pussygutt were just what we needed. synus-clearing. and they're house was appropriately goth.

at the show, dan-o and ben(?) filled in for amitai (r.i.p.) on vocals and made us feel like a karaoke machine.
then on the way out of town the next day
the clownz caught up to us. they took us to the amusement park and wouldn't let us leave. i spent the night there.

that's right KUKES, a blog. i shouldn't have to tell you that the creation of this blog is solely to exempt any of us from talking on the phone to you so don't bother calling us. actually....i haven't heard "COUNT DRAGULA" in a while so go ahead and call amitai.

since we (were) still in california, let's take a second to direct you to the hottest musical recommendation of tour so far: CHUCK DEUCE. if you've ever lived in santa cruz and/or enjoy contemporary club hip-hop and/or think jokes about kooks, bros, nugs, travs, getting lurked, pcp, surfing, or kooks are funny you will probably get this.
we got to davis just in time to see a water cooler from san francisco (?) they look like this:
